For two decades, I've been developing my own brand of hybrid imagery that unifies all of my creative yearnings. An amalgam
that is bold, colorful, illustrative, graphic, designerly, painterly, expressive and contemplative all at the same time.
A creative breakthrough in 2013 brought all of these attributes
together with the emergence of Timespace Realist, my portrait
of Albert Einstein, which was the first in this fresh new series.
As a result of developing my knowledge of Philosophy and Physics, I'm naturally drawn to figures like Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla and the 20th Century philosopher, Alan Watts. But making these portraits also aims to celebrate humanitarians and peace leaders like Mother Teresa, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi and others alongside cultural revolutionaries like guitar genius Jimi Hendrix for their stellar contributions to mankind.
In addition, as a thoughtful response to the human condition, some portraits express satirical commentary. as in these works:
Harbingers of Untold Calamity (2013); Human Condition (2017); Bang, Bang, See How They Run (2016); Transcendental Hound (2014) and Uprising (2015).
